Xiaomi has become the leading TV manufacturer in China and India over the past 6 years. TV developments have followed the market trends, with OLED, 3D and curved panel models, and the 4K QLED era arrived in autumn 2019.
Xiaomi builds most of its TVs on a contract basis, but from 2018 onwards, several of its models will be assembled in its own factory in India.

In autumn 2019, Mi LED TV 4 series 3 (Mi LED TV 4A 32″, Mi LED TV 4S 43″, Mi LED TV 4S 55″) finally arrived in our country.

We also tested 2 models of the trio, the smaller 32″ model 4A test here, the biggest Presentation of the 55″ 4S and you can check it out here.

Mi LED TV 4A 32″

The display on the smallest and cheapest model is VA type (a better choice than the cheap IPS), with no particular problems with viewing angle and image quality. The hardware is a bit weaker, with only 1GB of memory, but the Android TV system is a no-brainer and a good buy for its price range. Surprisingly, even the built-in speaker is usable, with sufficient volume and sound quality in smaller rooms. The design is clean, with a black frame and (plastic) feet, and a very usable Bluetooth 12-button remote control. Although Netflix and HBO Go don't work, the apps available from the Play store are great to use. With the KODI system installed, you also have access to apps from a good number of Hungarian broadcasters, so a home TV subscription isn't really necessary.
Overall, it can be a good choice for even the smallest Mi TV. It's the ideal size for a small living room, bedroom, kids' room or kitchen.

Mi LED TV 4S 43″

The Mi TV 4S is the smaller member of the Mi TV 4S duo, with a 108cm screen and 4K HDR resolution. The panel is now a high-quality IPS with HDR10 support. The hardware is fully in line with today's market requirements. It comes with 2GB of memory and a quad-core processor, and loads apps quickly and without any lag. The 12-button Bluetooth remote makes it easy to use, and you can even use voice control to search. The Mi TV 4S's slim metal frame gives it a sleek and modern look that will be the edge of any room.

The 43″ size is ideal for medium living rooms, bedrooms, catering rooms.

Mi LED TV 4S 55″

The Mi TV 4S, with the largest screen size of 139 cm currently available on the European market, has the same hardware as the 43″ version. Its size is impressive even in larger living rooms, with an impressive viewing experience from up to 5 metres away. It is perhaps the most popular screen in our country, due to its relatively small price difference.
This was the first model we tried and we had no problems with the picture quality. The Android TV system doesn't support Netflix and HBO Go either. Other than that, it's a full-fledged smart TV that could be a Xiaomi fan's favourite device in the home for years to come.

Of course, all three models have built-in WiFi and Bluetooth. They run Android TV with Android 8 major version, which includes a PatchWall launcher, but we can only use it in the blank due to the lack of Hungarian content. According to our information, the first content in Europe is being developed for the Spanish, but we Hungarians still don't notice much of it, if we use it in the Hungarian region.
In addition to a Google Account, you can also set up a Mi Account on your Mi TVs, making it easier to share certain content from your phone to your TV screen.

Mi TV 4 prices, availability

The Global Mi TV 4 series was first launched in Hungary at the xiaomishop.hu webshop started to distribute. It will not be available this year, but is expected to be available in official brand stores from the beginning of 2020.
We would not recommend foreign webshops at this time, as there are many risks involved in purchasing from a warehouse, even in the EU, due to the size of the device, its packaging and the existence of parcel insurance.

The Mi TV 4A 32″ price with 2 year Hungarian warranty 77.990 Ft, a Mi TV 4S 43″ 129.990 Ft, while the Mi TV 4S 55″ 154.990 Ft.
The latter is not in stock as of 5 December, with the next delivery expected in January 2020.

Xiaomi TV is still a curiosity in Hungary. It's not the price or the special features that make it the best offer, but we recommend it to fans who are passionate about the manufacturer's products.
