The Xiaomi 13 since its debut more and more tests are coming to light. At the Chinese launches, Xiaomi likes to compare its own phone with Apple's current top-of-the-range phones. If nothing else, it beats the Xiaomi 13 Pro, Apple's iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The Xiaomi 13 series was almost among the first to showcase the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and its performance. Since then, there have been nothing but good things to say about not only the chipset, but also the phone. Xiaomi has now gone all out and finally come up with a series that is sufficiently outstanding in both performance and features.
Golden Reviewer, who we're lucky enough to have doing in-depth tests, compared the performance of these phones. The game he ran on each phone, the Genshin Impact, which is enough to make even the best irons sweat. The test looks at frame rate, power consumption, efficiency and temperature. We can see from the data that Xiaomi's flagship performs quite well in terms of average frame rate, power consumption control and heat generation while running games.
At the end of the test, it is clear that the Xiaomi 13 Pro performed highly compared to its big competitor. While Xiaomi came in first place, the iPhone 14 Pro Max only came in 5th. But even the Xiaomi 12T Pro scored better with the previous generation Snapdragon chipset. The Xiaomi 13 Pro has a better frame rate of 59.4 FPS, which is better than the Pro Max (58.4 FPS). In addition, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has a maximum temperature of 39.3 degrees Celsius during gaming, which is quite low. The iPhone 14 Pro Max reaches 46.7 degrees Celsius.
The only thing we can conclude from this is that the Xiaomi 13 Pro offers a better gaming experience than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. So that doesn't mean it's a better phone!
