When Xiaomi announced the Mi MIX last year, it received a huge response, making the world press. Soon after, more and more imitations appeared on the Chinese domestic market. Then a year passed, and slowly the specifications of the successor and its radically different design took shape. Full Screen 2.0 took Mi MIX 2 in a new direction. Some were divided by the smaller size and 18:9 aspect ratio, others grumbled about the single camera. The Mi MIX 2 was unveiled on 11 September and sales have started. The camera's capabilities have already been revealed. reported at, the bechmark results and specifications are public. And now, courtesy of a tester, we take a look at what's hiding under the ceramic back cover.

The Mi MIX comes in two versions - a ceramic back with a metal frame, and a full ceramic (unibody) version. The first version is the one taken apart here. The disassembly process is fairly easy, but if you're not sure yourself, it's best to consult a professional.

Mostly, we provide the pictures for illustrative purposes only and for the information of our service colleagues.

The tools you need include a Philips screwdriver, tweezers, press tool and suction cup. The suction cup is used to separate the ceramic from the rest of the phone.

First switch off the device and use the disc to remove the back cover. Be careful not to pull it out completely, as the fingerprint scanner cable is connected to the rest of the phone.

Using the screwdriver, remove the screws (ten screws in total) to access the other parts. When removing the top plate, you should be able to disconnect the cable from the fingerprint scanner. The rest is easy from here. Use pliers if necessary to remove the unscrewed parts.
