A bit of an internal turmoil was created by the post of Xiaomi staff on Weibo on 11 October in which staff dissatisfaction over management was channeled. The problem is that this is the microblog of Nanjin Mi Store……

“From today , there will be no Nanjing flagship Mi Store any longer. You [probably referring to Mi Store management] are trampling on the bodies of our brothers who work for their poor incomes. Xiaomi is no longer the coolest company in my mind”, – says (rough translatio ) the employee who operates the Weibo account. It also referred to the two top managers: Xiaomi CEO, founder and Bin Lin, CEO. The main problem, according to the employee, is low esteem and low wages for the high demands that are made by Mi Store.

This is not the first time that Xiaomi employees have complained, the owner of a Xiaomi franchise store even sued the company for the breach of contract, supply problems, communication and marketing negligence, etc…

The post was removed quickly but not quite as local media started to spread the news and it was published on several community platforms. Xiaomi confirmed that an employee wanted to express his personal resentment and the incident is under investigation.
