New Xiaomi Smart U-Lock With Fingerprint Sensor

We may think that they cannot come out with any big thing but then they surprise, us, FANS with a new Xiaomi stuff. It is just the case now as well, as it is perhaps not a niche device but it can be really useful for the target group.

The AreoX Chinese company is making the new smart lock for Xiaomi which is made up of zinc body and stainless steel lokc beam which ensures anti-theft protection. The lock has full resistance against dust and water and the in-built fingerprint sensor, too. The biometric sensor is quite fast and can unlock the device in 0.55 seconds and can recognise more than just one finger.

The device can not only be used as a security lock for bikes, motorbikes but even to lock doors and other devices. Its big advantage compared to other locks is that it can be easily unlocked with one hand. We do not know yet if it will be powered by in-built battery or removable batteries as the product has not even been launched. It will only be available from 10 o'clock tomorrow morning in China for 199 Yuan (~8,465 Ft).
