Xiaomi’s first Android ONE device, the Mi A1 was launched last September. As we know, it is the global variant of the Chinese Mi 5X, which we be repeated this year since Mi 6X is going to be released on 25 April.

It seems that Mi A1 is not any more available for sale as it disappeared from online shelves and its manufacture also stopped. The preferred partners for Xiaomi from Delhi reported that Xiaomi no more provides its partners with the given device.

Since Mi 6X is going to come out in China in 9 days’ time, we can take it for granted, that it will also be launched in India as its predecessor, the Mi A2. Regarding hardware, there was no difference between Mi 5X and Mi A1, only the software was different and incompatible. Mi 5X came out for sale with MIUI and Mi A1 with Android. It will be the same this year, Mi 6X will be preloaded with MIUI, then not long after Mi A2 is expected to come running on stock Android.

What do we already know about Mi 6X/A2? It is said to pack  a 5.99″ display, FHD+ resolution. Dual camera setup on the back – 20MP and 12MP Sony. On the other hand, the front camera will have a 20MP selfieking camera. There is a fingersprint scanner on the back and 2910 mAh battery. SoC is still a question….
