New Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite Version Is Arriving On 16 November

Yesterday, Xiaomi officially announced that a new Mi 8 Lite version would be launched today. The 4+128GB version was really announced today which will go on sale from 16 November. We have no information about a Global version or it will remain on the Chinese domestic market as the Gold version.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and the Mi 8 Pro are the first phones from the manufacturer with colour gradient versions. (This version of Mi 8 Pro has no Global variant so we will have to make do with the transparent Titanium version.)

The base model of the Mi 8 Lite that features 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of native storage is priced at 1,399 yuan (~201 dollars). The second variant that includes 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage costs 1,699 yuan (~244 dollars).

The highest configuration variant costs 1,999 yuan (~ 288 dollars) with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB storage. Xiaomi has not yet announced the price of the newly introduced 4+128GB model of the phone. The new device will be either priced at 1,799 yuan (~259) or 1,899 yuan (~273 dollars).

The Global Mi 8 Lite versions were listed by several Hungarian webshops in two colours ( Black and Aurora Blue).

The above listed Mi 8 Lite variants number 4 versions, taking the two colours into account it will include 12 variants. As far as we know, we will not get all the 8 in Hungary as only 4 have Global edition. Therefore the 6+64GB version and the brand new 4+128GB version will be the privilege to the Chinese and the Gold version as well until the Global version is launched.

However, it is good news that Mi 8 Pro will arrive and be available for sale from December, price is unknown yet, but exclusively in 8+128GB transparent Titanium version.
