Facebook can ban multiple users if they do not comply with the protection settings despite being warned to do so.

It has happened more than once in this country that large Facebook accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers have been hacked, locking out the original owners of the page and posting various messages in their names. To avoid this, Facebook has developed a new protection programme, which was launched in the US and is now available in Hungary. A Facebook Protect The idea is to ensure that people with a large following - including politicians, journalists, influencers - can keep their accounts safe and prevent hackers from misusing their names.

The persons concerned will receive a message from the social media operators informing them of the details of the connection. The system is said to check two main privacy concerns: whether two-factor authentication is enabled and whether the password strength is correct. They also require the user to operate the site under his real name, which will be checked.

Pages enrolled in Facebook Protect have until 12 November to join the program, and those that do not will be banned from the site from that date. The ban will be lifted only after the user has complied with the settings for the protection feature.

Facebook joins Google in two-step identification supporter, recently made it mandatory for everyone to set up two-factor authentication to protect users.
