Yesterday was the big Chinese launch of the Redmi Watch 2 a smartwatch with incredible hardware and features. You can read more about the watch here, but more interestingly, the Redmi Watch 2 Lite was released globally today.

So this is not the global version of the Redmi Watch 2 released in China, the screen is smaller and only TFT, not AMOLED. The Redmi Watch is already out, available as Mi Watch Lite. But then how on earth is a second generation smartwatch Lite version coming out? These moves are making Xiaomi chaotic in Europe, with renaming and pointless launches. The average person doesn't even know where they are face to face, we find it hard to follow this chaos.

So how much will it cost? We don't know. Xiaomi hasn't written down the price anywhere yet, we've checked their Facebook page, Twitter, other platforms, everywhere you go there's just an advertisement of what a great watch it is. With a TFT display... well, it's a Lite, it must be cheap. Then I came across a rumour that in China they say 359 Yuan ~ 16,835 Ft. Anyway, it's worth it if that's what it's going to be here. All jokes aside, let's hope they announce it soon and we get all our questions answered.
