YouTube has already started testing a feature that shows you the most popular part of the content within the video for some users.

Recently we also reported at that a very useful feature is coming to the YouTube platform, making it easier and more convenient to navigate between channels. The innovation is that users will be able to log in to the web interface and see a mini video, allowing them to pick up where they left off on other devices, such as mobile phones or TVs.

One of the latest developments on the video-sharing site 9to5Google reported that a new feature has been released that shows which points in the video are viewed the most. To access the new feature, you simply drag the marker left and right on the bar to highlight the most watched parts.

While the feature is not entirely new, as content producers have already been able to read this kind of information, YouTube's latest development is obviously designed to save time and effort for web users, so they can find the most interesting and relevant parts of a video as quickly as possible.

The new feature is available on both the web and mobile YouTube apps, but only for a few users so far. As it's currently in the testing phase, it's not clear when it will be available to the wider public.
