No, in our case the Mi4 was the first phone, followed by a simpler version, the Mi4c. After that came the Mi5, which has had several successors, such as the Mi5s, Mi5s Plus and Mi5X. It was here that Xiaomi's first processor, the Surge S1, was introduced and was only intended for the Chinese market. On the other hand, its twin was soon launched as part of Android One, the Xiaomi Mi A1.
Since then, there have been quite a few rumours about a certain About Xiaomi Mi6X phone, along with the company's new processor, the Surge S2. The Mi6X is also expected to be followed by an international version of the Mi6X, the Xiaomi Mi A2. The Tech Configurations team have put together a great concept phone based on the rumours that have been coming out and I can tell you that it would be a great successor to the Mi A1.
The Xiaomi Mi A2 will, of course, follow the 2018 trend (not to everyone's delight) and will be full-screen, with an 18:9 aspect ratio, FHD+ resolution and a much thinner bottom and top bezels than the Mi A1.The top bar will feature the 20MP selfie camera from the recently launched Redmi Note 5 Pro, paired with an LED flash. It also has the same specs, Smart Beauty 4.0 and f/2.2 aperture.
It also inherits the rear camera layout, with a dual camera between the flash. 12+5MP dual f/2.2 PDAF and electronic image stabilization with bokeh effect. The fingerprint reader is in the usual place at the back, in the middle, the antenna bar has been made quite thin at the top of the phone.

The bottom of the phone isn't the usual symmetrical layout, with the 3.5-inch Jack headphone jack at the bottom, to the left, the main microphone next to it, the USB-C connector in the middle and the speaker on the right.
The Mi A2 is designed in three colours, grey, red and black.
According to the rumours so far, the Mi6X will come with the new Xiaomi processor, the Surge S2, but it is only for the Chinese market. The Mi A2 is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 625 or newer 636 processor, although price sensitivity makes them prefer the cheaper option. RAM/ROM pairing is the usual, but could range from 4/32 to 6/64 GB, which is age-appropriate, although more storage could be accommodated. It's highly anticipated!
