Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is coming - It has received Bluetooth certification

It seems that the big celebration in China is over, with daily crumbs of information about new gadgets arriving. After the Mi 7, Mi Max 3, Mi A2/6x, Mi MIX 2s rumours, today we get some information about the upcoming Mi Band 3. You're all eagerly awaiting it, so it was about time we heard about the successor to the most popular fitness wristband.
Roland Quandt a name that will be familiar to regular readers. He is the renowned blogger who has published dozens of credible leaks on his Twitter channel. So far, all of the information he has published about Xiaomi products has proven to be true.
This time, it provided a credible Bluetooth certificate, which you can see above, and I've highlighted the gist in red. It's the Mi Band 3.

According to XMSH05HM is the model number of Mi Band 3 and has Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity. This is the Anhui Huami Information Technology Co., Ltd aka Huami, like the previous two Mi Bands. The list doesn't tell you much about the other specs, except for the 4.2 Bluetooth version. You can expect the usual features like heart rate monitor, pedometer, calorie counter, and new features like NFC and GPS. Although the latter is only speculation, while NFC was rumoured last year.
There's no word on an exact release, but it's possible that Xiaomi will go all out for the first time at MWC in Barcelona, and show off a whole host of gadgets. Leading the way is the Mi MIX 2s.
