Xiaomi India sets Guinness World Record

Xiaomi India, yesterday on 26.09.2018, set a new Guinness World Record. Xiaomi has made the world's largest illuminated logo from smart light bulbs.

The illuminated mosaic logo, clearly visible from the air, was illuminated with 9,590 Philips-manufactured Xiaomi RGB smart bulbs. It is currently the largest such mosaic bulb logo in the world.

Here is a special record we have created, our first Guinness World Record (@GWR) by building the largest light mosaic logo in the world. The light mosaic was laid by assembling a staggering 9,590 bulbs.

It was the idea of Xiaomi India's marketing team, although Xiaomi does not really need to promote the brand in India, as it is the number one phone company in the country. But it doesn't hurt to give it a little extra, as the company is not only looking to battle the country's leading manufacturers with phones, but also in other areas such as television and Mi Home.
