The new Starlink satellite receivers seem to have caught the attention of cats as well as pigeons.

Elon Musk's satellite internet does not work nearly as well as it should, so far neither in terms of speed nor stability, it does not match the solutions of terrestrial fibre optic cable or transceiver towers. With the arrival of colder days, the company has also had to face another problem: not only are pigeons nesting in the starlink 'dishes', but cats also seem to be very happy in them, at least as the photo that has recently started to appear spread on the internet.

A Starlink subscriber posted a very funny video showing five cats sitting in the receiver. The furry creatures are known to be attracted to warmth, which is no doubt why they were attracted to the instrument when it was warming up during operation. One Reddit user was so intrigued that he even used a thermal imaging camera, which eventually led him to the conclusion that the whole thing, including the back, was warm.

However, this is not the only thing that Starlink is doing a lot to listed on in the news lately: the CNET report from according to China has lodged a complaint with the United Nations because its Starlink satellites forced the Tiangong space station to make two detours in one year.

Elon Musk, the world's richest man, started building the Starlink satellite network in November 2019 to beam broadband internet to almost every corner of the planet, bringing fast internet to countries where it was previously not feasible (for geographical reasons, for example).
