The Android 12 train rolls on, and today two more popular Chinese versions of the phone got the Android 12-based MIUI beta update. Yesterday, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro phones Chinese version, and today the Poco F2 Pro and Xiaomi Mi 10T!

Poco F2 Pro

Poco F2 Pro, or the Redmi K30 Pro, was released in early 2020 and it looks pretty good, thanks to the pop-up camera. Since then, Xiaomi has completely forgotten about this solution, much to our detriment. A Xiaomi Mi 10T and Redmi K30S series were launched in the second half of the year. It was a bit interesting this year, almost everything IS just renamed...

21.12.2 Changes

1. The Redmi K30 and Redmi K30S Ultra are the first to be released as developer versions based on Android 12, with a number of optimizations and improvements to pay tribute to the brave Mi Fans

Update log

Status bar, notification bar

  • Fixed: the previous floating notification will blink if you receive more floating notifications in landscape mode
  • Fixed: the notification bar will automatically retract after you receive a notification after you have pulled down the notification bar

Settings

  • Fixed: the icon is displayed incorrectly in the top right corner of the system app refresher (Xiaomi 11 Ultra, Xiaomi 11).

SMS

  • Optimising some empirical problems

As I wrote in the previous article, this does not mean that MIUI 13 will rest on Android 12. There will be phones that will be upgraded to MIUI 13 on Android 11, but they will only get a new base later. Moreover, it will not arrive on domestic phones in Europe until 2022.
