Thanks to the Perseverance rover, there is now proof that water once existed on the surface of Mars, and now we can find out how the wind blows on the planet.

The US space agency (NASA) has suspected for some time that the red planet water may have been present on the surface of Mars for a long time in the past, but until recently no one could say for sure. Recently, information gathered by the Mars rover Perseverance managed by concrete evidence, the rover found sediment formations, known as landforms, which suggest that the lake was once fed by a delta river.

Perseverance recently gave space exploration enthusiasts another pleasant surprise: using its special microphones, it recorded the sound of winds blowing on the surface of the red planet, which anyone can now listen to. The recording includes the robot's wheels and engine.

The rover's microphones are instruments that can detect frequencies inaudible to the human ear. During the mission, the rover has already recorded five hours prepared by.

Launched last July, the Mars rover landed in February this year after a risky landing in the Jezero crater, a former lake bed marked at the landing site, with the aim of exploring the geology and climate history of the body, as well as finding evidence of life on the red planet.
