Yesterday, the 28th, the new MIUI 13 framework was finally unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 12 family of phones. While we didn't see that many vital new features at the launch, Chinese fans are in for a treat. There's already a precise schedule for the release of Chinese updates, but the global, or EEA news that matters to us, hasn't come yet.

For European fans, it's about releasing a public stable version, even if it's a Chinese rom. Usually, the Chinese release is followed by the global and EEA versions within 1-2 weeks, so you will know in advance which phone it will be released for. But at the global launch, we'll probably get an exact timeline of when and for which phones the new MIUI will be available. Be patient!
