Most of us like to have a good camera, strong hardware, a good display and a good battery, but unfortunately the Xiaomi Mi 11 is still 280 thousand forints if you buy it officially, and the Mi 11 Ultra is 530 thousand forints. Well, obviously, few people need the latter, but some people don't need a Mi 11 Lite for 110 thousand forints, or even a Redmi 9 for around 60 thousand forints. For them, the cheapest Redmi available is the Redmi 9A.

The Redmi 9A is also available from an official site for 35 thousand forints, with a MediaTek Helio G25 chip, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and a 5000 mAh battery.

The first stable MIUI 12.5 builds were released at the end of April 2021, and since then the list of updated phones has been growing, until we reached the point where the Redmi 9A also received the MIUI 12.5 update, for now in China, the global version is still to come.

Interesting fact: Before I wrote that the Redmi 9A is the cheapest Redmi, I checked to make sure it was. If you look at the official sources, it is indeed, but it's just under 2,000 HUF more expensive than a Redmi 9AT. Although I know most of the Xiaomi and Redmi phones, I have to admit that I have not heard of this. I was curious to see what the difference was. I looked at the a conflation table, where, in addition to the memory variants, I noticed that the Redmi 9A is 2 grams heavier and 1 mm narrower, and therefore the display-to-screen ratio is 81% for the Redmi 9A and 81.1% for the Redmi 9AT.

Finally, a site called Mysmartprice I found itA: The Redmi 9A was re-released just over 2 months after its launch, the only difference is that the 9AT has an extra microphone for better noise cancellation. Dear Redmi, seriously?
