Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 released on the Chinese MIIT website

Just like we wrote earlier, the Mi Pad series continues and we're just around the corner from the launch. The other day, an inquisitive Chinese enthusiast found the famous Digital Chat station on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology website. The Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 with some pretty punchy hardware will be making its debut soon.

The Chinese datasheet reveals that the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 will use Qualcomm snapdragon 870 5G processor. This may be the higher-end version, as not everyone needs 5G capabilities, so it will be simpler. And it will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 at its heart, so it will meet all your needs.

Further speculation is limited to other features such as the IPS LCD 11″ screen, 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate.

According to rendered smartphones based on the plans, the back will have a nice big Mi 11-like camera island. Say, why do you need so many cameras on a tablet? Not to mention the pen on the case! Will this be the first Xiaomi tablet that will work with a stylus? Hmmm

I just want to know the price! There's talk on Weibo that if they want to make a splash in a tight market, they'll have to undercut the competition. Huawei's tablet out there is currently 2,499 Yuan ~ 116,340 Ft, they should be selling it for lower than that, say 1,999 Yuan ~ 93,060 Ft. And yes! If it's 100 rupees outside, what about here? 150.000 Ft????

I had a quick look around the house to see what was going on with the tablet. I couldn't find any comparison with 5G, so I can only compare it with the 4G versions. The closest machine is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, which has similar features, but with a Pistike GSM shop also 200e JMF, while emag or MM shop 250e. So that's fair enough, the price tag of 150 thousand seems friendly for the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5!
