Xiaomi is preparing to re-release the Redmi 10, but it is not yet clear what will change in the 2022 version. A few months ago, information suggested that it will come with the same lenses, 50 MP main and 8 MP ultra-wide camera as the original model. Now the Geekbench database a phone called 21121119VL, powered by a MediaTek MT6769H.

This is the same Helio G88 that powers the 2021 model. The benchmark score confirms this, as both single and multi-core results are virtually the same as the "old" one.

The phone is still running Android 11, unfortunately the benchmark doesn't show the MIUI version, MIUI 13 can be based on Android 11 and 12. The 4 GB of RAM is no more than the original model.

EU certifications from a few months ago show that the phone comes with a 4900 mAh battery and a 22.5 W charger. The Redmi 10 can only charge at 18W, but that doesn't suggest a higher charging speed. On the one hand, because 4.5W isn't a huge increase, the presentation wouldn't really show that much faster charging. On the other hand, because it could be that the change was made simply for simplicity, so that the company didn't have to produce so many different chargers.

To sum up, so far there is nothing new on the new model, so it is not yet known what will make the device re-released. It is conceivable that the Redmi 10 2022 will be launched along with the Redmi 10A. The latter device also recently appeared in the Geekbench database, about this here you can read.
