Google Maps is not the most popular navigation app

According to a recent analysis, Google Maps is no longer the most popular navigation app. 

When it comes to navigation apps, the first thing that comes to mind for most people is Google Maps, which is probably the one that most people know and recommend to their friends. Although there are many other tools of this kind on the market, Google Maps has been one of the most popular for years, mainly because it has a lot of useful features and is updated very frequently. It is therefore surprising to see the Counterpoint Research which shows that the majority of users no longer rely on Google Maps in their daily lives.

Features such as the accuracy of map data, location services or the usability of the platform were taken into account in the analysis. All these factors were taken into account, with HERE taking first place and Google Maps taking the silver medal. In third place was TomTom's software, which is gaining ground in the automotive industry.
