The rumours of the new Redmi note 8 Pro keep coming. Lu Weibing provides most of the info, but Lin Bin in turn provides his experience.

With a MediaTek helio G90T processor and 64 MP camera, the Redmi Note 8 Pro with a 4,500 mAh battery is a great companion for everyday use. The SoC is great for gaming, the camera for great pictures, the battery for 2-3 days of use.

We've already written a bit more about the G90T, Interpreted by Lu Weibing, but Lin Bin is constantly testing new phones, and has done so with the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The Helio G90T is not trying to beat the top SD processors in performance, but the mid-range, SD710/730, Kirin 810/980. Based on AnTuTu numbers, it is not the top chip currently, but it beats the mid-range.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro with 4,500 mAh battery and good power usage of the SoC has a pretty good result, although we don't know more about the phone usage than what is shown in the picture. After 2 days 1 hour and 30 minutes of usage, 40% is left in the battery. With continuous 4G+ mobile net, WiFi, the screen wake up is also quite decisive, although the SOT time is not fully inferred from this, but it can't be bad.

There's nothing surprising about the Redmi Note 8 Pro's 64 MP camera, which can easily accommodate up to 27x digital zoom at this resolution. Although this is not of practical use in everyday use, it is sometimes useful when you can't get close enough to the subject. Tests will reveal all its features.

Sunset has always been a favourite subject in photography, and the Redmi Note 8 Pro performs excellently in night mode, but let's not get ahead of ourselves in judging the quality, and then our own raw images will decide if it's as good as the one Lu Weibing shot in China.

There will also be a Pro mode in the camera app, as the picture above shows, with a high shutter speed you can take a slightly artistic picture. Admittedly, it's quite nice.

Remember the funny Redmi Note 7 series commercials? When it was used to break all kinds of dolphins, nuts, melons, stomped on, used as a cutting board. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is no exception, with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front and back. We've seen few broken phones so far, let's hope the new Note series can hold up as well.

As an added bonus to end this article, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of World of Warcraft, the Redmo Note 8 Pro is being released in a limited edition. We probably won't see this even in Europe. Much to the chagrin of many gamers.
