This is the image of the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept

A few days ago keeps you on your toes the brainchild of Xiaomi and Leica, the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept. It's a "plain" Ultra phone redesigned, with the 1″ sensor centered and a bayonet shutter built into the camera island frame. This turns the phone into a FULLFRAME camera with interchangeable lens.

The initiative itself is not new, there have been attempts before, but they all failed. Perhaps the world was not ready for it. But Xiaomi and Leica thought that by 2022, the technology was advanced enough to make it happen. But not even that and accepted by the world.

Xiaomi's move has become so divisive that some people at home don't understand why they had to do it. Well, probably because they could do it and had to take that technological step. Just imagine, we have a good phone with a 1″ 50 MP image sensor just waiting to have a decent lens in front of it. I'm sure it won't be the big dream of current photographers to have one of these. But I am also sure that the direction is right and has a future.

Those who were a bit interested in this new implementation and instead of asking for a teaser, many were curious about the pictures of what the Xiaomi 12S Ultra Concept can do. Although this requires competent photographers who can take pictures with it, not just an average Yuzzer who shoots "very nice" pictures on FB, Insta, Twitter, etc. Testing is already underway in China, and Eastern photographers published their first photos today, which I'm sharing with you now!

I don't have an expert eye for photography, but these turned out pretty nice. At last the photographer didn't apply Leica effects, but clean sharp images came out.
