Global HyperOS update officially announced

Finally this morning an official announcement was made Xiaomi in the community! No exact date for the global release of HyperOS, but we finally know which phones will get it first!

The Chinese HyperOS is already out on quite a few phones and tablets, our eastern pals have long enjoyed all the new features of the new system. The global launch was announced after the Chinese launch, which is Q1 2024, the first quarter of the year. So January-March, which is a pretty big timeframe. Unfortunately, today's announcement doesn't bring us any closer to the dates, so we're stuck with that timeframe. But at least we got to know which phones it's coming out for first.

Xiaomi HyperOS next update schedule announced

In China, the Xiaomi community has officially announced the devices for the next release of HyperOS. Specifically, which devices will receive the development version of HyperOS for China in December. In addition to the announcement in China, a few phones that are available here in the US have also been released in code and will be among the first to receive a HyperOS stable update. The first round of Xiaomi HyperOS has already received the developer version of the system and stable has already started rolling out to select models. So here is the real and official list of devices that will be the first to receive the global HyperOS update:

• Xiaomi 13 Ultra
• Xiaomi 13 Pro
• Xiaomi 13
• Xiaomi 13T Pro
• Xiaomi 13T
• Redmi Note 12
• Redmi Note 12S
• Xiaomi Pad 6

This is the global version, and it was not made clear in the announcement whether the EEA that we have is included, or whether the whole thing has been merged and will not be separate. As only the Chinese version has been available so far, no other region designation has been made yet. We will see. We look forward to further developments!
