The Redmi Note 12 series has been very good, not in everything, but once again the brand has gone above and beyond with some innovative new features. The Redmi Note is at the top of the mid-range, not a full-fledged flagship phone, but it does match up to its much more expensive siblings in some features. But it's now certain that the Redmi Note 12 series will be coming to Europe.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro+ were added to the international IMEI database a few days ago, well ahead of the release of any European phone. This is perfectly confirmed by today's news that it has already received FCC certification.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is the first Redmi phone in the Note series to feature optical image stabilisation. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is Redmi's first phone with 200 MP. But even Xiaomi hasn't had one yet. We've identified the model number of the devices in the certification, with the Redmi Note 12 Pro (Global) model number 22101316G and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (Global) model number 22101316UG. So we expect the two phones to be released in our country soon.
The good question is when? The domestic release is not expected until the first half of 2023, as the global version of MIUI 14 (V14.0.0.4.SMOMIXM) is already being tested on phones. MIUI 14 the European announcement will take place after the launch of the Theoretically, it will be shown in December Xiaomi 13 phone family and with it MIUI 14, and after that the Redmi Note 12 series will come to Europe.

Okay, but where is the Redmi Note 12 5G? Well, it looks like it's going to POCO and it's going to be unveiled in India for the first time with a rebrand. It has already appeared in the Indian BIS listings, but under the POCO brand. The type is still unknown, maybe POCO M6, but more likely it will be POCO F5 as it will be packing the latest Spandragon 4 Gen 1 family of processors. We'll see.
