The MIUI 12.5 Enhanced (improved) version has only just started to spread, but In China MIUI 13 beta tests are now complete and stable is next. It's already been released to the internal test team for several phones to be rolled out on the Xiaomi 12 series in December.

MIUI 13

MIUI 13 Stable will be released first on flagship phones only. They will then reveal which Chinese phones will get it and when at the launch. After that, it will be revealed later when it will arrive on global devices. Currently the following phones have been released for internal testing in China:

  • Mix 4
  • Mi 11 Ultra
  • Wed 11
  • Redmi K40
  • Redmi K40 Pro
  • Mi 10S
  • Mi 11 Lite 5G

The seven phones above are all similar, and all came with Android 12 base. For the time being, this will be the basis for the MIUI 13 Stable system, but it will probably be solved later on Android 11 base, so that older phones will also get it in 2022. If you have a phone with a Chinese version, you should be happy, because custom MIUI 13 roms will come! We'll be in touch as soon as we know anything, we'll be back with details!
