When the Xiaomi 12 could debut

Qualcomm will unveil its new flagship chip tomorrow, from here on it's a race to be the first to release a phone with this chip. Although in this race, there are companies that are starting from a competitive advantage, like Xiaomi last year. For the Mi 11, Qualcomm announced at the launch of the Snapdragon 888 the Xiaomi top gets the new chip first. We can expect more of the same this year, although Lenovo-owned Motorola is also in a good position, so Xiaomi's lead is not yet clear.

In China, on the other hand. started to spreadwhen Xiaomi's newest top of the line, the 12, is supposed to debut.The original date was supposed to be December 16, but the event organizers, who might be a bit OCD, thought that if the Xiaomi 12 is unveiled in December, then it should be 12-12-12.

A rumour about the Xiaomi 12X recently appeared, which is expected to debut at the same time, unlike the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which will not arrive until 2022.

The Xiaomi 12 has a curved screen, with a camera hole in the top centre, 120 Hz refresh rate and "2K" resolution. It has stereo speakers and a triple rear camera system with a 50 MP sensor as the main sensor, either from Samsung or Sony. The new device is expected to get 120 W fast charging and will have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Xiaomi 12 is likely to be the new MIUI 13 operating system, and the software will probably be unveiled at the same event. Although, MIUI 13 would be unveiled on the 12th. Maybe they will wait another day... :D
