The Xiaomi Mi Band, in the European renaming, has also been given the name "Smart" for nothing. Although everyone still refers to it as the Mi Band, its career is unbroken. This is confirmed by a recent report from Canalys.

By the second quarter of 2021, the balance of power has changed, first on the phone front Xiaomi has made great strides, but today it has also become the best in bracelet sales. Canalys reports that it has taken the number one spot globally, with a 20% domination of the market, followed closely by Apple's smartwatch. Huawei remained in third place, with other brands taking a negligible slice of the pie.

A good achievement, but in Central and Eastern Europe it leads the field by a much larger margin. Xiaomi's wearable smart devices lead with 39%, which is unchanged from the previous line-up. Xiaomi's march is unstoppable in Europe, as it is worldwide. It doesn't take much to take first place in every field.

In hindsight, Xiaomi is not just about the Mi Band bracelet, although not all of its products are available worldwide and in Europe. If we look only and exclusively at its own brand, then the Mi Watch family plays a role in achieving results alongside the Mi Band. But if they included everything, I mean Huami's stuff, then it's not a bang for the buck to win this competition against someone who has 1 product a year. Unfortunately, the report doesn't go into this exactly, but if I understand it correctly, it's only about own-brand products.
