At this price level it is already on par with the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter Essential scooter, but there is some difference, sometimes in favour of one and sometimes in favour of the other. A Xiaomi can travel up to 20 km on a single charge, while the Segway Ninebot only 18 km. But while the latter does this at 25 km/h, the former, max. 20 km/h. So the Xiaomi continue for 2 km, but the Segway Ninebot at least faster.
The diameter of the wheels is also very important, as it has a strong influence on the comfort of driving. The larger the diameter of the wheel, the less sensitive it is to minor road imperfections. In short: although the Segway Ninebot It goes 2 km less, but faster and more comfortably. Thanks to its 10″ wheel diameter, it's a better choice than the Xiaomi.
When it comes to stairs or terrain unsuitable for scootering? You just fold up and pick up your scooter. Yeah. But there's a difference again. A Xiaomi scooters heavier, 15.3 kg, while the Segway Ninebot only 14.8 kg. Okay, okay, half a kilo difference is not a big difference, not for everyone. But how long do you have to carry it? That 0.5 kg less would be better already, wouldn't it?
There is no difference in climbing, engine power and other features. But there's the design! A Xiaomi so simple, monochrome, monochromatic. A Segway Ninebot I think it looks cooler with the red tubes, like a sport scooter. But the Xiaomi on the contrary, it suggests strength and reliability.
