Lu Weibing, the head of Redmi, recently brought up the topic of the Redmi Note series, which hints that a new series could be coming soon. This isn't the first official info about the Redmi Note 13 family, it has surfaced here and there and received some certifications.

Last week, two new Redmi phones received Ministry of Industry and Information Technology network access and radio clearance, the 23090RA98C and 2312DRA50C models, also 3C certified.



According to 3C Certification, this 5G mobile phone is manufactured by Huizhou Guanghong Technology Co., Ltd. It will be equipped with MDY-14-ED charger as standard, supporting up to 120 W fast charging. The MDY-14-ED is the original 120W gallium nitride charger for the Redmi K60 Pro. The charger can fully charge the Redmi K60 Pro's 5,000 mAh battery in 19 minutes.

The GSMA IMEI database shows that the model 23090RA98C belongs to the Redmi Note 13 series, including the global, Indian and Chinese versions. Judging from the "2309" on the front of the model, this new machine is scheduled to be released "September 2023" and is expected to be officially announced in the near future.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the 23090RA98C uses a 2.8 GHz processor (probably Dimensity 7200), up to 18 GB of memory + 1 TB of storage, does not support memory card expansion, is equipped with a 4,880 mAh battery, measures 161.43 × 74.2 × 9.0 mm.

In addition, the 2312DRA50C uses a 2.4GHz processor (probably Snapdragon 7 Gen1), has up to 18GB of memory + 1TB of storage, does not support memory card expansion, is equipped with a 5,020 mAh battery, measures 161.15×74.24,×7.98mm and weighs 187 grams.

Both models use a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 2712×1220 resolution, 200MP+8MP+2MP triple camera and 16MP selfie.

What is a CCC certificate or CCC mark?

CCC stands for " Chinese Compulsory Certificate " or abbreviation "3C".
