In addition to the phones, Xiaomi also showed off some really cool new stuff at Sunday's launch. Although I have already written about it, but the full specifications and knowledge have only just been revealed, so it's worth revisiting the Xiaomi Mini Host.

The Xiaomi Mini Host is a mini PC, which is nothing new to my regular readers. It's a full-fledged computer with all the features you'd find in a desktop PC. Of course without an optical drive...

  • Pre-installed Windows 11 Home Chinese Edition

A very strong point of interest was raised here, as in the phone presentation. The Xiaomi 13 Pro was said to use a laminated battery, MWT technology. And on the specification page it says a single cell battery. Now, on the Xiaomi Mini Host, Ubuntu distro was listed as the operating system. It's one of the most popular Linux and the interface is very friendly. Although many of us don't agree on that. The specification already says that it comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed. Who understands this?

Anyway, coming back to your knowledge, it is something amazing. The only thing my current machine is better than the Xiaomi Mini Host is the video card. I have an i5-6400 proc with 2.7 GHz clock speed, it's not young, but the i5-1240P has 3x the performance in all tests.

Price in China

The Xiaomi mini PC will be on sale in China between 11 December and 14 December for 3,699 Yuan ~ 206,700 Ft. Then the recommended retail price after the promotion will be 3,999 Yuan ~ 223,400 Ft. Compared to mini PCs of similar capability, the Chinese price is an extremely good price. But if you "explain" it, it's not so much, but still worth it!
