The new Xiaomi Mi Pad, perhaps number 5, although we have seen a few numbers drop out of the Mi Note series. Until we find out, we'll call it the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5. According to the Chinese 3C certification, the tablet has two of the 4,260 mAh battery. So the total capacity is 8,520 mAh, which is pretty significant.
If rumours are to be believed, it should be, because it needs to run a 10.1″ 2K screen, MTK Dimensity 1.200 procit. There will be two versions, a plain and a Pro version, the plain one will be powered by SD870 SoC, the Pro will have MTK, says mydrivers.com.
The Pro's screen could be a high-end LCD with 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling, targeting the top end of the segment, like the iPad Pro and Huawei Mate Pad Pro. The Pro may even have the advantage over the Sima in that it gets a digital pen function inside the tablet's casing.
