Xiaomi never stops evolving, this time it's not just about releasing phones and other devices, but also about evolving software. Yes, I know, the new direction of always developing the latest Android base for the latest phones is not the best choice, but somehow you have to accept it. Then in time, backwards, older phones that are fully compatible with the new Android base will get it.

Yesterday, Tuesday evening, this year's Google I/O took place, where the latest Pixel phones and Android 10 operating system were unveiled. Android Q, according to CEO Sundar Pichai, will see further enhancements to the visual experience, with services based on artificial intelligence. The release of Google Lens in MIUI, based on Android 9, is testament to this, with the search giant innovating augmented reality through the app to give Android users outstanding help to recognise anything they see through the phone's camera and provide all the information they need. They are also continuing to improve the Google Assistant app, serving all the needs of the blind and visually impaired, and even supporting illiterate people who are at a disadvantage in all aspects of their daily lives, such as reading and/or writing. Android Q is able to read and write for them, so that they can do things on their smartphones, such as buying groceries, ordering taxis, buying train tickets, banking, etc. In addition, Android Q fully supports the new 5G standard, which is essential to prepare the supporting devices at system level for its expansion, which has just started.

After Google I/O, Xiaomi announced that it will launch beta testing for its two latest models, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G and the Xiaomi Mi 9, which anyone can sign up for if they own either of the two.
