Android 12 fever is on! Official form, testing has already started on what will form the basis of MIUI 12.5, the Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, the European version of the Redmi K20 Pro, which is very well known. In this series, Xiaomi has been a huge innovator biker selfie camera. It has now received the custom Android 12 update.

Google has made the Android 12 source code (AOSP) public and custom, the development of custom ruins, has begun. Many of you don't know this, but these systems developed by private individuals are sometimes better than what the manufacturers are doing. They're nicely gutted, don't have any unnecessary bloatware and are better optimized for the hardware. Although there is a chance that something may not work, but with constant patching they fix it quickly.

For years, the collection point for these custom ruins has been the XDA-Developers forum, it is always worth starting your search for alternatives here. A couple of days ago, the custom Android 12 was posted here in the Redmi K20 Pro/Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro topic, which can now be downloaded and installed. According to the developer, everything works in the system, it is suitable for daily use:

  • Boots
  • RIL (Call, SMS, Data)
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • Photography
  • Video capture
  • Video playback
  • Hang
  • Sensors
  • Flash
  • LED
  • GPS
  • Volte

One thing that is not working yet is "SELinux enforcement". But this will probably be improved in time. English knowledge is essential for installation. I won't describe it here, because if something changes, you can follow it in the developer's thread. For download and all information just click here and read carefully what the author writes!

The creative call:

I'm not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or being fired because the wake-up app failed (like me...).
Please do some research if you're concerned about the features in these products before you install them!
You decide to make these changes, and if you point your finger at me for ruining your device, I will laugh at you.
The warranty is void if you modify any part of the device/software.
Same statement for XDA.
