Meta has developed a new feature for WhatsApp that allows users to listen to a recorded voice message before it is sent.

In the last few weeks, several security features have been reported at that will be added to WhatsApp in the near future, and now we're announcing another useful development that can help users create voice messages.

According to Meta's announcement, users will be able to listen back to voice messages before they are sent, so you can essentially record over and over again until you like it. It goes without saying how useful this new feature is in avoiding those awkward situations where you've quickly, or perhaps thoughtlessly, given up on something, only to discover the mistake when you've sent the message.

The new feature has already started rolling out, so it's worth refreshing and checking it out, because in the coming weeks, WhatsApp will be rolling out to everyone.

However, this is not the only new feature that affects voice messaging. WhatsApp is extremely well-informed about the WABetaInfo spottedthat a feature will be coming in the near future that will allow you to stop and then resume audio recordings. It's still only testing, but those lucky enough to already see sound waves in the app while recording will probably already have the useful pause-record feature.
