We have become so "dumbed down" - not a nice word, but appropriate - that the market and users have forgotten about LCD displays. Today it is almost unthinkable to have a GOOD phone without AMOLED. But why is an LCD display a better choice for today's phone? Redmi will answer that question next Tuesday, as the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ will arrive with DisplayMate A+ certification.

What can we now know about the LCD display on the Redmi Note 11T Pro+? First and foremost, it's the first LCD display in the world to match the quality of an AMOLED and it has been DisplayMate A+ certified!!! So far, 40 AMOLED displays have received this recognition and now the world's first LCD screen! That's something to shout about!

This is what Redmi has revealed so far about the display:

  • 7 levels of adjustable 144 Hz image refresh
  • 20.5:9 unique aspect ratio
  • RGB pixel layout
  • DC total brightness dimming and refresh rate
  • Hardware level blue light reduction
  • Ambient colour temperature sensor
  • Dolby Vision

Not only because of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, I'm also looking forward to the Redmi Note 11T Pro+ next week's show. Although the LCD lacks AOD, but if you don't use it, the new phone will be great. It's also definitely cheaper than an AMOLED, which brings the price down, which will be very good for us!
