Xiaomi is expected to launch a new pen after the launch of the (second generation) smart pen. Currently, this brand new stylus has passed the Bluetooth SIG certification and has been named the Xiaomi Focus Pen.
The literal name of the Focus Pen is different from the Xiaomi-inspired "Smart Pen", but it's hard to guess what features this pen will have. In the SIG certification database, the pencil has model number 23089MP43C and supports Bluetooth 5.1.
Unfortunately, no further details about this pencil have been revealed yet. Recalling the Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) which measures 160 mm in length, 8.8 mm in diameter and weighs around 13 grams, is equipped with a 40 mAh lithium-ion battery, supports wireless charging and has a total battery life of 150 hours.
The Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) is equipped with a 26° elastomer tip that supports 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. And pen and ink marks can be displayed with 5g activation force. The pen body is equipped with two buttons to quickly open the Mi Note, switch brushes, take screenshots and more. Currently the Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Generation) is available for the Xiaomi Pad 5/6/6 Pro/6 MAX models.
