It is perhaps one of the biggest dilemmas when you have to choose between two very good brands. When it comes to robotic vacuum cleaners, we also have a hard time finding the right one for us, but I'm going to try to help you out. Once you've looked through the two Xiaomi or Our Roborock Tour, then you might be on the right track with vacuum cleaners. But it's hard to decide between the two.
The merits of Roborock are undeniable! In contrast, Xiaomi has built its portfolio on Roborock vacuum cleaners, which means that Xiaomi started with Roborock robotic vacuum cleaners back in the day. They used to release a few devices under their own name with a few exceptions, but most of them were not theirs either, they were made for them by Roborock. As for the bracelets, Huami makes for Xiaomi, e.g. the Mi Band, now Smart Band series.
Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners are not only made by Roborock, but also by the cheaper brand VIOMI. The simpler Xiaomi vacuum cleaners come from there, the more modern ones almost from Roborock's workshop.
Design
In terms of their appearance, the Xiaomi devices have their laser scanning towers at the back of the vacuum cleaner, while the Roborock is almost in the middle. This is mostly irrelevant, just from a design point of view. And, of course, the distribution of the components. In terms of their operation, the bottom of the devices are exactly the same. 2 big wheels, with the main brush in the middle, where the air is sucked in. The mop in the back, the tank above. And on the right, in front, the familiar side brush, which directs dirt towards the main brush, even from the corners.
Price and knowledge
If we compare the two brands in terms of price, Xiaomi is the winner, as a robot vacuum cleaner is available from 79.990 Ft. At Roborock it's 99.990 Ft, but that's even more than their cheapest vacuum cleaner. But if you look at it the other way round, the cheapest Roborock is not up to the knowledge of a Xiaomi for the same price. So if you want a cheaper robot vacuum cleaner, you'd better look around Roborock's house.
If we look at the mid-range, we see that Xiaomi is again surprising us with a bigger offer. While we are looking between 100 - 150.000 Ft, we have to choose between 5 different Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaners. In the case of Roborock, that number is only one. So there we can't really think about which one to choose. But. And here comes a big but. That one mid-range Roborock, in the Xiaomi line, is already scrubbing the top end of the range in terms of knowledge.
The balance of the best of the best, however, tips in Roborock's favour, as the brand offers more options for professional cleaning. I'm not saying that Xiaomi is any worse, in fact I'm leaning in that direction, but I have to admit that Roborock somehow has a more professional feel. Not to mention the high end of the two brands. It's clear that Roborock outperforms Xiaomi.

The answer to the Xiaomi or Roborock question is... difficult. Cheaper vacuum cleaner, Xiaomi. More professional vacuum cleaner, Roborock. More to the point, if you just need a robi that cleans for you, but don't have high demands for hyper-super features, Xiaomi. Conversely, if you want to keep everything under control and need a spotless clean home, Roborock.
