The other day a mysterious Xiaomi phone was found in the Chinese 3C authority's database, which is not surprising nowadays, as all Chinese phones start their careers there. However, this one is interesting because it has a 27W fast charge.
According to the 3C listing, there are two devices codenamed M1902F1A and M1902F1T, which are equipped with MDY-08-ES chargers capable of 27W output, so these phones will more than likely be members of the Mi family or the top-end Redmi.
Looking at the code numbers, M1902F1A looks mysteriously similar to a previous Mi 8 code number M1803E1A. Therefore, just by inference, it could be the Mi 9 phone, as rumours and rumour mills have suggested that this year's flagship will be unveiled in February. We wrote about this yesterday.
