As I mentioned in the previous video and article, I did some tests on the Redmi Note 9S to see how much battery life it has, how much performance the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC can deliver. Well, first let's see what the complete system can do, games, videos, daily use.

Let's start with the "most important" AnTuTu scores, as that's what most young gamers are interested in, how much they can roll with it. 274.162 points is a strong midfield. All I can tell you is that it's better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 or Hisilicon Kirin 970, but a bit weaker than the MediaTek Helio G90T or Exynos 9810. It's a bit cheaper than the GalaxyX2, but it's not much better than the GalaxyX2.After 3 days of skinning, I didn't notice any glitches or micro glitches, even though I loaded it with apps, just the usual ones. And for games, Last Shelter: Survival, Candy Crush Saga, Warship Blitz, Lords Mobile, Sniper 3D, Call of Duty, Angry Birsd 2, Badmington League, Clash Royale and Auralux 2.

Day 1

On the first day, the focus was on filming, mostly Youtube FHD movies and series, not even that many, more than 16 hours, from morning till night. I guess that's not going to happen for anyone, there's no one who's that desperate to film that much. But there may be a situation where there is nothing else to do, then 3-4 movies will only half-drain the 5020 mAh battery. SOT time: 17 hours 54 minutes

Day two

Well, let's give it to him, I thought and then came the better and better movies, games, bechmark tests, like in the hands of an average media consumer and gamer. 6 hours of games, 4 hours of movies, 1 hour of tests and 1 hour of all sorts of things, Facebook, messenger, photography, etc. Well, it was not a girl's dream either, I have never used so much mobile in my life... I am slowly developing my mobile book and I can go on sick leave. SOT time: 11 hours 24 minutes

Day three

At the suggestion of a reader, I did an all-day test not on Wifi, but on mobile. I chose the DIGI card (not an advertisement) for this, as its coverage and bandwidth are not up to scratch, so the phone has to fight for every byte. So, I had an above average third day with everything on my mobile, Facebook, Youtube, Messeenger, games, etc. It's still not an average usage, for me, but maybe for others it's average. You can see usage between 8am and about midnight, and 32% is the remaining battery capacity. SOT time: 11 hours

Fourth - seventh day

Well, unfortunately I haven't finished this yet, because on the fourth day today I only used 9% besides the way I use it and it's only noon... If I keep this up, it will be about 3 days before I have to put the phone back on the charger. Well, I'll come back with a little summary and see how much the iron and the software consumed.

Summary

Foooo kids, this phone is brutal! At this rate, the average juzer can really get 2-3 days out of it, but a real gamer can get 1 full day!

I have 42 hours left according to current usage statistics, if I turn on the Battery Saver feature, that would increase to 65 hours, which is almost 3 days. But that doesn't include the battery saver timed for overnight, so I'll be able to comment when it's discharged. So! This is a very well made "small" phone. If you can come to terms with the screen size, it's a great companion for everyday use. I will have the camera test by the end of the week, if it performs well there too, then folks, this is the Bestbuy phone of the year so far! Stay tuned, I'll be in touch soon!!!
