The full specifications of the Redmi Note 8 2021 were released ahead of the announcement, which is almost incomprehensible to me. So far, only posters and official leaks of the "new" phone have been published, but now you can find out everything about it.

The exterior hasn't changed, the update is more on the inside, but I'll show you what has changed:

So looking at the specification, one thing has changed, and that is the SoC and its associated features. The original SD665 was very good for its time, which is why it was so sought after, because it did everything IS. Although now support for it is being discontinued, Android has also stopped at 10. But the MTK G85 is a bit better than that, I wouldn't say it's going to be up to date. While not better technology, it's newer and faster too according to tests. Probably the price is better too, so the 2021 model will debut back in the affordable category.

No official announcement has been made yet, and the Xiaomi Facebook page only has "coming soon" marked. The price is still unknown, so we can't spoil it for you right now. But rumours have suggested that 145$ will start from ~$41,270 on Aliexpress.

Update!

At the time of writing, it has already been sold for that price!

Do you think it's worth it?
