Redmi is launching a new phone soon, with the Redmi Note 12 4G expected to hit the global market at the end of March. Now, a leaker, Sudhanshu Ambhore has published rendered images of the phone.
According to the leaked renders, the Redmi Note 12 4G phone looks similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G phones launched in India earlier this year.
The design shows that the Redmi Note 12 4G has a straight-edged front panel design. There is a slight curve between the front and back for a comfortable grip. The SIM slot is located on the left side of the phone, while the power and volume keys are located on the right.
The USB Type-C port, main speaker grille and microphone are located at the bottom. On top, there is an Infra remote and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The front panel has a thick bottom and fairly narrow side and top bezels.
On the back, there are three rectangular camera modules and an LED flash. The leaker revealed that the phone will be available in three colours - grey, blue and green. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 685 chip, which is an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 680 SoC with a peak frequency of 2.8 GHz. It uses 4GB of memory and runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13.
The Redmi Note 12 4G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution that can support 120Hz refresh rate, with a 13 MP front-facing camera. At the back, it has a 50 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2 MP depth/macro sensor. The built-in 5,000 mAh battery supports 33 W fast charging.
