The Redmi K30 and K30 Pro are Redmi's second series of phones, not aimed at the mid-range. The latter is so much so that it has the top of the range Snapdragon, but the 5G version is less known by that name in Europe, where it is known as the Poco F2 Pro Retrieved from. A test of this will be coming soon, but information about a possible successor has been released recently.

A phone codenamed M2006J10C has appeared in the database of MIIT, the Chinese Ministry of Information Industry. The information includes that the phone is 5G capable. This is not so surprising, as such a version of the predecessor already exists.

As usual, the "plain" Redmi K40 is unlikely to feature a processor from the Snapdragon 800 series, rumours suggest that it could debut with the Snapdragon 775 chip. While many thought it would be unveiled last week, the Snapdragon 690 was released instead, so that remains to be seen.

The same codenamed phone also received a CCC certificate ("China Compulsory Certification (CCC) is similar to other certificates certifying the standard quality of products, such as the CE system" by china-certification.com), some interesting facts have also leaked out from here.

The device will be launched with the MDY-11-EX charging head from Xiaomi, which is capable of 33 W fast charging. Presumably, the phone will also be able to accommodate this charge. However, a thread has also surfaced that the device is the mysterious CAS code-named phone, which has been I have employed, but it was rumoured that it's not the Redmi K40, but the CC10. Too little is known for sure at the moment, but I hope that whatever name the ominous device is released under, Redmi will not be too far off with the pricing, despite 5G.
