The Redmi K30 and K30 Pro are Redmi's second series of phones, not aimed at the mid-range. A “sima” Redmi K40-ben a hagyományokhoz híven valószínűleg nem a Snapdragon 800-as szériájából kerül ki a processzor, pletykák szerint a Snapdragon 775-ös chip-jével debütálhat. Bár többen azt hitték, hogy ez bemutatásra kerül a múlt héten, azonban helyette a Snapdragon 690 jelent meg, úgyhogy ez még várat magára.

The device will be launched with the MDY-11-EX charging head from Xiaomi, which is capable of 33 W fast charging. Presumably, the phone will also be able to accommodate this charge. However, a thread has also surfaced that the device is the mysterious CAS code-named phone, which has been I have employed, but it was rumoured that it's not the Redmi K40, but the CC10. Too little is known for sure at the moment, but I hope that whatever name the ominous device is released under, Redmi will not be too far off with the pricing, despite 5G.
