Here it is IDC report on the market share of portable smart devices sold in the third quarter of 2021. Demand increased by 9.9%, but not only watches and bracelets, but also TWS earbuds are in the repertoire.

For the first time, demand for smartwatches has now overtaken interest in bracelets, perhaps due to the fact that the line between the two is slowly blurring. Fitness bracelets can now do everything a watch can and vice versa, although the price still tips the scales towards bracelets. But a watch, on the other hand, is suitable for all occasions, so you can wear it all day, whereas a bracelet is not very stylish. It has moved into second place in the wearables list, an increase of 4.3%. The increase in sales of TWS earbuds has also been quite significant compared to last year, with a positive change of 25.6%.

Apple still leads the portable smart device market, albeit with a slight decline compared to last year. Samsung has moved up to second place, the result of a huge drop in Xiaomi. In the third quarter of last year, Xiaomi was still in second place with 13.2% share, with Samsung below with 8.9%. Xiaomi has now dropped to third place with a demand deficit of 23.8%, sharing one place with Samsung. Huawei has also grown, but not enough to change its place in market share.

In fifth place, however, is a very unknown company, Imagine Marketing from India, which offers boAt branded devices in India. Suddenly an emerging brand in the East, it has achieved its success with its price, not its quality and name. 10 million products sold is an increase of 206.4% over last year, which is understandable for a new and emerging brand.
