Another era is over, 3 weeks and MIUI8 will be available for everyone. But until then, let's see what will change visually compared to the "old" system.
MIUI8 on the left, MIUI7 on the right
The first page has been changed from orange to blue when installed
The basic clock widget has been made bigger, some icons have also been tweaked
This is one of the biggest changes, as instead of the usual transparent panel, you're greeted by a new colourful white background under a graphic header. The switches are arranged in rows by default, but you can change them to the usual grid structure.
The running applications panel has been given a music widget. By dragging the application icon, you can not only lock the application, but also its progress and view its details.
The Theme menu has been completely redesigned. Icons and settings have also been changed.
The weather has been completely redesigned, with a dynamic background like in older versions.
Slightly reworked, settings at the top 3 dots below, each month in a different colour and the buttons have also been coloured.
The Receiver has also become more colourful, smellier, more cheerful, with colourful buttons and nicer sound wave effects.
Not too much change, settings at the top 3 dots below, bottom button changed colour.
A Contact page has also changed its look, with a dynamic background, buttons added under the name, and what's left at the bottom has been coloured.
Now that's what's new. Not just in looks, but in knowledge. Not just QR, EAN code reading, object recognition, formula recognition, text translation, business card recognition and document scanning.
And here is the other big transformation. The calculator is no longer a simple and scientific calculator, but a money changer, interest calculator, VAT calculator, length, area, volume, etc.
Camera optimised, small changes in operation. You can now access the settings in the camera settings (menu button long) instead of swiping left and right.
Default background changed and buttons.
