This morning I was greeted with shocking news from the Chinese nest, Weibo. MiJia and Xiaomi CEO revealed information that has deeply shocked the Xiaomi fan base. We already knew that the Xiaomi Mi Watch processor is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3.100, which can run the Android Wear OS.

Therefore, we assumed that the Xiaomi Mi Watch would run Android Wear, but the poster above proves it. Activity meter, messages, notifications, etc. can be seen, which already provides quite a bit of content, knowing that the watch also functions as a phone.

But if all that wasn't enough, later on there's another poster with a pallet app, which is best known from your phone, so we'll be treated to all the good stuff.

Then came the most shocking announcement, that the Android system interface, here too, as on most Xiaomi phones, with MIUI interface will have! Which means you can carry your favourite system on your arm, with eSIM and WiFi support, and completely replace your phone if you don't have it handy. But what came next...

We got a taste of how it works, with MIUI for Watch. It will do almost everything on your phone, navigation, payments, receiving and making calls, chatting, browsing, watching videos, looking at pictures, etc. Now let's see it in real life!

So it will be like this! This is a new fan base for the company, it looks very similar to the Apple watch, but it's a bit different, a bit Xiaomi, a bit MiJia, a bit Chinese... But what happens next? Since we're talking about Android and MIUI, we'll probably start cooking up a custom MIUI for the watch. Let's hope that this will also result in a great, fully Hungarian MIUI for phones, so that even simple users at home can use it comfortably. We're already throwing change into the pot!
