We previously reported that the Pad 5 runs Android 12L, Google's new system for large screen devices. No Android 12, but MIUI 13 has been added to the Mi Pad 5, in a global stable edition.
The changelog for the update, V13.0.1.0.RKXMIXM, is not too wordy: improved performance, stability, and security. That's it. And then there's what's new in the global release of MIUI 13, which isn't much either, but it does bring some useful things with it.
The MIUI 13 update is roughly 495MB in size, and as usual, it will be released gradually, so everyone will get it soon.
The update Android 11 based, so we will have to wait for update 12.
Xiaomi previously announced the MIUI 13 Pad, which includes a number of convenience features for tablet users of the platform. It is currently unknown whether the global version will also receive these new features.
