The Xiaomiui discovered that a patch has been released in the latest MIUI 12.5 closed beta.

The feature is extremely useful, as I'm sure many of you have unfortunately had your phone screen hacked. Only to have to replace the battery or have your phone serviced for some other reason. In such cases, the repair shop asks for an unlock code when you hand over the phone, because they need to test somehow whether the phone has been repaired successfully, and in such cases, they are reluctant to give it to you.

This is addressed by the latest feature found in the closed beta, the patch mode. When you activate Repair Mode, the phone reboots and loads a completely blank, clean system with no apps, contacts, pictures, videos or personal data installed. So you can test the phone, but your data remains safe.

A small thing, but a very important thing. I have a lot of respect for the developers for paying attention to such small things.
