The Chinese Redmi Note 10 family is a class leap up! Specifications, prices

This morning, at 8:00am Hungarian time, the live unveiling of the Redmi Note 10 family in China began. We streamed it on our YouTube channel with Marci and Hungarian commentary.

Two phones in the Redmi Note 10 family have been released in China. The regular 5G and the Pro. I would like to say up front that I would not choose the versions available in this country, because they are mediocre compared to the Chinese...

I don't even understand why the reverse is happening these days with the release of phones. Maybe because the needs are different and the expectations are different? The plain, not-so-smooth Redmi Note 10 5G has turned out to be a very promising mid-range phone, not to mention 5G capabilities and mediocre performance. It's designed to be a simple phone, with age-old, satisfying specs. This is of course coupled with a reasonable price tag, of course only in China, worth around 45.000 Ft!

Compared to the home Redmi Note 10, it underperforms and undercuts, not a little, but a lot. The SD678 is far inferior to the D 700, the camera is not overcrowded, China thought it was enough to have a main camera, which is 48MP, although the selfie is 13 instead of 8MP. So it's not better in camera in China, but in everything else it is inferior to the domestic version.

Well, there's the rub! I can safely say that it is the king of the midfield at the moment! In fact, it's scratching the top of the range! The D1100 Soc is better than last year's SD865, so the 7 series SD phones can hide behind it in knowledge and performance. By comparison, the domestic RN10 Pro is junk... especially when you factor in the $40,000 difference. It's not any better in terms of camera, but the 64 MP is still pretty good, especially since it doesn't have the global shit MIUI behind it and can take good quality photos.

If I had to switch to a cheaper phone right now, there's no question I'd choose the Chinese Redmi Note 10 family. MTK or SD SoC? Today, I don't think there is a disadvantage to MTK processors, in fact, you can get a phone cheaper with similar or better performance. At the moment Mi 9SE is also equipped with a "clunky" SD712, which still has excellent performance, but it is already outperformed by the D700... I'm just waiting for it to appear in some international webshop (from EU stock of course) and go BUY!
